Greetings guitar enthusiasts!
Thanks to all who attended the William Kanengiser concert and masterclass. We were treated to a great day of guitar activities by a world class artist. With that we come to our final event of the season, our Open Stage and end of the season party. As always, any classical guitarist, at any level is welcome to play for the open stage Or, if you just enjoy classical guitar music and want to hear some local players, feel free to come along. If you don’t want to play a solo, bring your guitar and join us in playing some ensemble music instead! We really encourage students to come and get some experience playing for a friendly and supportive group. Teachers, please share this info with your students! ISCG Open Stage Sunday, May 20, 2012 Circle Unitarian Universalist Fellowship 1818 West 57th Street Time: 2:00 PM Open to anyone who loves classical guitar!
Sincerely, John Alvarado President – Indiana Society of the Classical Guitar Members at Competition Our own ISCG member Alexander Arbuckle recently placed 2nd in the youth division of the Appalachian GuitarFest and Competition at Appalachian University, North Carolina and 4th in the youth division at the Indiana International Guitar Festival and Competition at IU Bloomington.
